First overview of the recent work of Francesca Torzo, illustrating a written and expanded version of a lecture she delivered at the 2022 Mies van der Rohe Award ceremony in Barcelona. The book includes a Q&A with Ellis Woodman and Elizabeth Hatz. Its title, Building Correctly is taken from Pier Luigi Nervi’s book Costruire correttamente (Milan: Hoepli, 1955) and offers a privileged insight in the conceptual framework of her built work. It is published in conjunction with a monographic publication on the internationally acclaimed building for the cultural centre Z33 in Hasselt.
